Whether you're a native San Franciscan, a visitor from another side of the world, or a classroom of budding botanists, the Conservatory of Flowers offers an intimate up-close experience with rare and endangered plants unlike any other. Come see what treasures await you!

Group Reservations

Planning a Field Trip? Visit the Field Trip page.

Adult Group Reservations
The Conservatory asks groups of 10 or more to make a reservation. The Conservatory can accommodate up to 35 people per group. Groups are welcome to visit Tuesday through Saturday. Groups are not admitted on free day, which is the first Tuesday of each month. We do not recommend groups visit on Sunday as all roads in Golden Gate Park are closed to vehicle traffic. To avoid weekday crowds during the school year (September-May), we recommend booking your reservation after 11:00 a.m.

Adult Guided Tours

Guided tours are offered for groups of 10 or more. Please make your tour reservation at least 3 weeks before your visit. Tours are free, however a credit card number is required to secure each docent. If your group cancels with less than 48 hours notice, your credit card will be charged $50 for each docent. The Conservatory can accomodate up to 35 people per group. Smaller groups may attend the public tours at 11:00, 12:30, and 2:30. Public tours are subject to volunteer docent availability.
