Houseplant parenthood has its quirks. Join the Conservatory for our very first indoor plant care workshop. From philodendrons to orchids, we’ll teach you how to propagate, re-pot, and care for common plants that can thrive in your home, apartment, or office. While learning how these plants grow in their tropical habitats, you’ll discover how to cultivate a lush indoor jungle of your own. Hear tips and tricks from our resident indoor jungle expert, Drew Risner-Davis. This event is suitable for all ages. No gardening experience required.

Class also includes a virtual tour and scavenger hunt. For an additional cost, bring the Conservatory into your home with our new at-home kits. Conservatory @ Home: Tenacious Tillandsia includes your very own Air Plant, hands-on activities, a hand lens, and a Conservatory pin.

Whether you’re a native San Franciscan, a visitor from another side of the world, or a classroom of budding botanists, the Conservatory of Flowers offers an intimate up-close experience with rare and endangered plants unlike any other. Come see what treasures await you!
