Reptiles and Amphibians of the Tropicswith Lick Your Eyeballs
Get up close to tropical reptiles with the Lick Your Eyeballs team. Meet geckos that lick their eyeballs, hold a 3-foot friendly lizard, and hang out with a colorful chameleon. Lick Your Eyeballs will introduce you to the wonderful world of tropical reptiles and amphibians and their ecology. Learn more about the Curiosity event series.

Conservatory Lighting and Summer Solstice Concert
Celebrate the start of summer with an amazing night of music in Golden Gate Park at the iconic Conservatory of Flowers. The City will revel in another free concert in the Park on June 20, and as the longest day of the year slides into night, the Conservatory welcomes back the Summer of Love light art installation launched in 2017. Photosynthesis transforms the Conservatory into a canvas of colorful light art every night through October. Learn more about this exhibit.

Botanicals and Brews Beer Garden with ThirstyBear and Faction
Discover the unique tropical plant collection of the Conservatory through the lens of craft brews. Some of San Francisco’s finest craft brew masters will set up shop on the third Friday of the month at our Victorian greenhouse, telling the tall tales of botanical brewing and proffering their delicious elixirs.
